With this form you can report fraud with webshops under the management of EasyWebshop. For webshops that are not made by us, we can not start a fraud case.

Step 1: Prevention

Make sure that you know the seller. If in doubt, please contact the seller first. Are contact details such as a valid phone number and an address available? Is the webshop clear about delivery, payments, returns and general conditions?

Please be cautious when the offer is too good to be true, especially for branded goods.

Step 2: Try to contact the seller

Visit the homepage of the shop and add /contact at the end of the address bar. You are now on the contact page of the shop. Give the seller at least three business days to respond to your request.

Step 3: Report to EasyWebshop

You have become the victim of a scam or fraud and the previous steps have gone unheeded? Report the fraud using the form below. Make sure that you report these details:

We will check the shop of the seller and verify whether this is a dishonest seller. When this is the case, we can close the shop to avoid problems in the future. EasyWebshop however, does not intervene in disputes between buyers and sellers. Privacy laws forbid us to communicate personal details of the seller. We can only do this to official bodies.

After your contact we will create a fraud case.

Step 4: Report to the financial institution

Contact your bank or your payment provider. In a lot of cases they can refund the payment. EasyWebshop does not process payments from online merchants.

Step 5: Report to an official agency

File a report to the police. In Belgium you can visit the website E-COPS for this.
